START-UP VISA

The UK Start-up visa is for high potential entrepreneurs who are still in their early stages expecting to start a business in the UK for the first time. You must be endorsed by an authorised body and be able to show that your business idea is a new idea, innovative and viable.

If granted a UK Start-up visa, you can bring family members with you and work in another job whilst working for your business.

INNOVATOR VISA

The UK Innovator visa is for experienced entrepreneurs expecting to start a business in the UK whose business or business idea has been endorsed by an approved body. To be endorsed, the business idea must be new, innovative and viable. This visa lasts for 3 years and can be extended an infinite number of times.

Once you’ve been in the UK for 3 years, you may be able to apply for settlement. If you are a holder of this visa, you can set up a business(es), work for your business and bring family members with you to the UK.

TIER 1 INVESTOR VISA

The UK Investor Visa is a UK work and business visa which is under the UK Points Based system. Foreign investors who intends to invest in the UK of at least £2,000,000 is eligible for this visa.

This visa allows the investor to stay in the UK for a maximum of 3 years and 4 months and can be extended for another 2 years. Whilst under this visa, you can work or study. Settlement applications are also allowed subject to certain conditions.

TIER 1 ENTREPRENEUR VISA

The Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa is a UK business visa under the British Point Based System that is open to international businesspersons intending to invest in the UK. The businessperson can either establish a new business or form a business partnership in an existing company.

This category of visa had been closed on 29 March 2019. Existing entrepreneurs can still extend their leave until 5 April 2023 and apply for settlement till 5 April 2025.

TIER 1 GRADUATE ENTREPRENEUR VISA

The Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa is a business visa that allows graduate overseas residents who have been endorsed to live and establish their business in the UK for a period of 1 year.

This category of visa is no longer available for application and has been replaced by the Start-Up visa. However, if you already hold a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa, you can still switch to a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa.
